Batik class at C.E.R.E.S

Hi here I am.... I will tell you about batik.

Batik is originally from Java. It is from the South and the North of Java. The differences is the batik of North of Java is brighter, mean more colourfull than the one from the South Java. 

On the school holiday I went to CERES and join a class of batik.

Here are the steps:

1.You draw your patterns on a piece of white fabric using pencil.

 2.You put the wax following the pattern that you've made on your fabric(Becareful! it hot!!!!) 

 3.Now you can paint your batik with a special,fabric paint(Don't mix colours!) 

4.Now it's time to dry your batik.Now you just have to wait until it's dry......
